EDUCATION AND HOMESCHOOLING

Education

Education should be firmly rooted in instilling biblical truth, morality, and wisdom, as Proverbs 22:6 instructs: “Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.”

This divine mandate aims to shape children into individuals who honor God, uphold His standards, and resist the pervasive secular corruption that threatens their souls and society’s moral fabric.

Public schools, however, frequently serve as breeding grounds for godless ideologies - evolutionary theory, moral relativism, and progressive agendas - that undermine faith, echoing Colossians 2:8’s warning against being “taken captive by philosophy and empty deceit, according to human tradition.”

Homeschooling

Scripture assigns parents, not the state, the sacred responsibility of educating their children, as Deuteronomy 6:7 commands: “You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house.”

Homeschooling emerges as the most effective means to fulfil this duty, offering tailored, faith-centred learning that shields young minds from worldly distortions and cultivates a robust Christian worldview capable of withstanding cultural decay.

Save The Children

The stakes are high, as public education increasingly promotes degenerate teachings - sex education, LGBTQ+ ideologies, and positive views of false religions - that directly contradict God’s design.

Sex education, often introduced as early as kindergarten (e.g., California’s 2019 Health Education Framework), normalises premarital sex and erodes biblical chastity (1 Thessalonians 4:3-5).

LGBTQ+ curricula, mandated in places like the UK under the 2019 Relationships Education guidelines, celebrate homosexuality and transgenderism—practices Leviticus 18:22 deems “an abomination” and Romans 1:26-27 calls “contrary to nature” - severing sexuality from its procreative purpose (Genesis 1:28).

This degeneracy contributes to demographic collapse, with fertility rates dropping from 5 births per woman in 1950 to 2.3 in 2021 (UNFPA), as non-procreative lifestyles rise—7.2% of U.S. adults identify as LGBT (Gallup, 2022). Meanwhile, multiculturalism in schools, such as Canada’s 2015 inclusion of world religions in curricula, presents false faiths—Islam, Hinduism, secular humanism—as equally valid, defying John 14:6’s exclusive claim: “I am the way, and the truth, and the life.”

To protect children and society, those teaching such corruptions should face severe penalties, including imprisonment. Teachers, administrators, or activists who expose minors to explicit sexual content - e.g., graphic books like Gender Queer in U.S. school libraries (ALA, 2021) - merit jail terms, reflecting the gravity of defiling innocence (Matthew 18:6: “Whoever causes one of these little ones… to sin, it would be better for him to have a millstone fastened around his neck”).

Promoting LGBTQ+ degeneracy, such as drag queen story hours in UK schools, warrants similar punishment - given its assault on God’s created order (Genesis 2:24) and its role in sterility, with nations like Japan projected to shrink from 125 million (2020) to 88 million (2065).

Advocating false religions in classrooms, undermining the gospel, justifies prison sentences, as it risks eternal consequences (Galatians 1:8) and cultural fragmentation - Europe’s 7% population drop by 2050 looms as a warning.

Homeschooling counters this tide, offering a sanctuary for biblical learning. It shields children from secular agendas, fostering godly generations untainted by moral relativism.

In the U.S., homeschoolers grew from 2.5 million in 2010 to 5 million in 2021 (National Home Education Research Institute), outperforming public peers by 15-30% on standardised tests—proof of its efficacy. Similarly, homeschooling has grown significantly in the UK and Europe in recent years. In the UK, it rose 130% from 2013-2018 (Oxford Home Schooling) and doubled from 2019-2024. Europe shows similar trends.

Parents, not the state, bear this sacred duty (Ephesians 6:4), ensuring education aligns with divine wisdom, not worldly lies. Penalties for corrupters reinforce this, protecting the moral foundation of nations and raising a faithful remnant to resist decay and secure the future.
